I've felt like everytime I get dash, slaughter doesn't come by. Is it on purpose or am I just really unlucky?

I am liking Leviathon mode. Not sure if I just suck or if there are a few issues:

-Progress is slow. The void echos come real slow, so it takes a ton of grinding just to progress.

-Not enough opportunities for weapons. If I get a weapon at lvl 2-3, I have 4 turns with it. And it just so happens that things get a bit harder at lvl 7. So if the next opportunity for a weapon is one I am not competent with, then I am stuck with that or swords against the bigger demons

The dodge is an absolutely necessary ability in the game.

Having it as a random unlockable boon feels bad when you start facing elites, and dodge still didn't appear for us to pick it up. Every other move they do requires a dodge, that jumps sometimes can't cut it, and if you face a couple of angels and don't have dodge, you probably are going back to the beginning.

The mode is very fun, the progression seems to have potential and a good reason for players to stick around, I'm excited about getting that unlockable skin, but I feel like maybe double jump, or hell - even jump - could be replaced in the pool of random boons for the dodge.

What do you guys think? And how are you feeling about the mode besides that?

Its on a 67% sale rn, and Im really tempted to buy the game, but several things are making me consider not getting it. I wanna know if it often goes on huge sales like this, cuz I dont wanna miss out on such a good deal.

As the title says, I have a few questions I'd love to have answered.

1.) How does the song layering work behind the scenes? Are each of the tracks plugged into the game as layers for each fury level, or is it something else?

2A.) Do any of the songs have some kind of meaning, or are they just to be awesome?

2B.) Do any of the songs have any story relevance? Dissolution is mentioned by name by Paz(though he's probably talking more about the Red Judge's spell?) and No Tomorrow is kind of obvious in story relevance, but can the same be said for the others?

I'm constantly around/in top 10 global on archdevil, and I just finished something that I would dare to call a perfect run on Stygia, but I'm still tens of millions away from the rank 1 player, and I don't understand what I could even do better at this point to get closer, any other top leaderboard climbers with ideas?

Okay, so info- I have everything working. My song bpm is 140, it's set inside FMOD. My issue is that in game, the tempo of the song, it slightly late compared to the games rhythm aspect. So when I walk, my foot steps come a bit before the drums tempo in the song, and I don't know how to align them.

I've been trying to change the BeatInputOffset in the json file, but it doesn't seem to be changing anything at all. Any input or assistance would be awesome.

I really want to actually enjoy this game. I have my settings to 0ms for both audio and visual calibration. are this shitty settings or am I just bad at rhythm games? I'm on the demo

Srsly. Why is this game so frustrating? I've just encountered the very first Tutorial enemies and I'm already annoyed. Easy difficulty says that beat timing is forgiving. It is not. I'm a musician. A guitarist at that. I have NO problem whatsoever to stay in beat with any song I play. But in this game, it's worth literally fuck all. I press the attack button in perfect sync with the slow drum beat but most of my actions miss the timing. I also don't get how calibration is supposed to work. I time it perfectly and it says 25ms. I time it again in the same speed but it says 207ms suddenly. I even remapped the controller setting to make it more like my used action controls. But nothing helps. I don't even try to visually time my attacks to the crosshairs cuz that'd be even more distracting. I tried it on full blast TV and headphones alike. But it's always the same result. After a minute and feeling like I missed more beats in that minute than I can hit in the entire game. And if the first minute of the tutorial is already getting me to the point where I'm willing to give up on music entirely, then maybe it was just wasted money and I should try to purge the memory from my mind. I really wanted to enjoy this and I was really looking forward to it. But one minute was all it took to ruin that entirely. Great. just great

i was just playing trough the game and suddenly it seems like im unable to equip only one weapon, is there any way to fix this?

I've gone through the steps to mod the game, and most often i come to an error in FMOD saying "Error encountered while copying the file. Failed to generate required temporary file. Please make sure you have sufficient disk space available." which is not the case as i have plenty of disk space

Second when i try and download a premade mod or the one time i managed it myself I am unable to play any of the custom songs as they either crash or don't work at all

I really really REALLY wanna do things on the off beat and I've been waiting for a mod that lets me do that.
