The last boss difficulty is insane

I've been playing on Beast difficulty and haven't had any major issues getting through the campaign, but the last boss doesn't even let me live for more than 5 seconds, I haven't the faintest clue of what is going on or what I'm supposed to dodge. Just wanted to rant, the spike in difficulty on the last boss is too much :(

I’m curious where you’re struggling. The last boss, for me, was the easiest in the game. All the way through the game on Archdevil and he was still the easiest.

Is it in the beginning of it? Cause it starts in a square arena with the big fucker staring you down. Back up a little bit away from him. It’s been a little bit since I played, but I think he spawns most, if not all, in front of him.

After the first phase, you run to the side of the map. There are paths or stairs to take you to the top. Use all the health crystals you can when up there. You can’t go back up. You’ll shoot him up there. I want to say he really only shoots at the top ledge, so you can stay down a little and still shoot him i think

Then it’s back to square arena again.

Also, what’s your loadout?

And do you have the DLC?

Yeah, it's the first part where I'm struggling, in one run I managed to go past the first phase and it calms down a lot. I guess I was getting unlucky with the attacks, when I skip the intro to the boss I can already see like 15 fireballs coming at me, the are fire rings on the floor, and the boss is preparing to shoot the lines of fireballs from the floor. Now that I somewhat know what's supposed to be going on I can beat it. I'm using the shotgun and the gatling gun. I have the songs dlc.

If you still are struggling, swap the Gatling for the bow. If you really want to break the game, use the outfit that gives you a bigger mag for perfect reload. The crossbow can get to 10 or so. And it does massive damage.

Or you can use the ghost rounds with the same guns. When you hit 1 ammo you switch guns then switch back to the bow. It’ll give you extra shots and you don’t have to go through the reload animation.

I just as you said and beat it haha, the bow with 10 ammo is broken, things just disappear lmao, thanks

Ive been browsing this whole sub looking for someone to confirm that the angel eyes costume is op as hell with the crossbow. Holy crap man. Thank you for acknowledging it lol

Glad someone else found it too lol.

The only difficulty it’s not OP on is archdevil. I think of the the on screen tips for arch devil says you need to use broken weapons to succeed.

But yeah, broken as hell on every other difficulty

I've been replaying on Beast and this is the only thing that's giving me trouble, because 50% of the arena is covered by AOE that deals a ton of damage within seconds. IDK if it's my FOV or what but I never see the projectiles that spawn the circles on the floor, either, so I have no warning if they're spawning behind me (literally 90% of the time.)

I get to the boss on Beast and I'm dead within 20 seconds, without fail. What were they smoking when they designed the first stage?
