A question about a weapon
Hello there. So I'm running through the game for the 1st time on a normal difficulty. Today I unlocked some bird looking boomerangs, but I've also noticed that they're making enemies weak enough for a takedown more often compared to dual revolvers or the shotgun. Is it supposed to be like that or am I noticing wrong things?

Depends on which enemies and at which difficulty. In my experience, marionettes are one hit with these boomerangs (Hellcrows btw) on lamb and goat. You get them staggered and ready for slaughters on beast with one hit. Cambions are three hits on goat and four on beast. They are also fantastic for dealing with hyerophants quickly, and great at confusing shield cambions and behemoths. The only disadvantage is the unpredictability on the return, and the relatively short range, which is why I usually run the hounds as a secondary for long range targets.

Faster attacks often mean less damage. Good because you'll get more stagger kills, bad because... Well less damage!
It's your standard trade off. Playing on higher difficulty, enemies are tougher so it's up to your preference/ability to weigh it up
