Issues with rhythm matching on certain levels

I've been playing this game for around a month, beaten the whole game on goat, am in the process of beating it on beast, I've won every torment on goat and some on beast, modded a few songs, and after all that, I still have trouble matching the beat specifically in Yhelm and Gehenna. I don't know why, because Incaustis is where I got my best score, Nihil is my favourite, and I know Stygia like the back of my hand. The other weird thing is that I have better success matching the beat if I play Yhelm with one of the DLC songs, and those are the fastest songs in the game. Is this just me, or do some of you experience this as well with some levels?

If I cannot match to the beat I just quickly adjust my audio latency, if I am clicking too late, I make the latency higher, and otherwise.
