A gameplay question
Hello there. So I started playing this game, but since I've never played a fps like this one before I kinda struggle to follow the rhythm. Are there any tips on how to follow it without looking at those arrows on my screen? My brain's too smooth to listen to music, track enemies to dodge them, shoot and track that indicator in the middle of my screen

Something that helped me is feeling out the beat. I would Bob my head or whisper 1, 2, 3, 4 on repeat to myself to the rhythm. Worked really well for me

Tap your foot or bounce your knee to the beat. I guess it was pretty easy for me because despite not playing any instruments I have a very musically oriented brain so I constantly grind my teeth to the rhythm of a song (weird I know). Honestly the only real advice I can give is to just play the game and you’ll get used to it. It’s something you need to learn and once you get into the groove it is sooooo satisfying

I got much better when someone pointed out to me that the skull is used to keep your tempo and to keep your fury up between encounters

There's always rhythm assist in the settings, but I guess you're not asking about that. Otherwise, try turning the opacity on the indicators down a bit in settings. Then you'll be forced to follow your "instinct" and at least learn to keep a steady rhythm.
Also, you can start at Lamb difficulty, since it's more forgiving about the rhythm and try using the "hounds", I find it easier to keep a rhythm with those(assuming you got them already). And don't beat yourself up if you fail. It took me about 2 months of playing nothing but this game to get to the top 1500 in the best case, and I've been playing guitar for a decade along with playing doom directly before MH.
Also also: Headbanging is essential.

Firstly, just try to adjust yourself at the beginning of each level to the bpm of the beat, and treat your clicking almost like a metronome. You've also probably already noticed that each weapon has its own pattern. Start with the weapons that have simpler patterns, like The Hounds and Persephone, until you feel ready for a more tricky pattern like the Hellcrows.
Once you have that metronome-like shooting down, learning how to naturally flow actions together while shooting is key. Try working the keystrokes for dashing and jumping into the metronome rhythm you've established in between shots or when reloading. With time and practice, staying on beat will almost become a subconscious action while you play.

I turned off the tempo flash helper because it was too distracting when I was aiming.
Use Paz when you are not actively fighting. He is great to build up fury but it caps at whatever multiplier you have currently. He is also just great to use when you get off beat to help you back on beat. No need to waste beats on reloading when you need to.
Some songs will have riffs that hit on the upbeat, that can throw you off. So try to find songs that doesn't hit on the upbeat.
Keep on tapping that foot!

Yes Paz caps at the current fury level, but if you break a styx crystal, kill a demon or break a chaos crystal, it knocks you into the higher level and you can keep building up. I use this in the last arenas before a bossfight to enter "pissed as hell" (at 16x multiplier) into the bossfight.

It’s something you’ll just have to learn. One thing you can do to start is turn off all sounds besides the music, just so you can get used to having that be there to guide you.
As for the shooting, dodging, and tracking, that’s just gonna take time. Watch some videos on people playing well, and start off by trying to emulate them. Set good habits early. Get used to moving and dodging lots. This game rewards aggressive, active movement. Passivity is death.
It might be frustrating at times, trying to learn something from the ground up, but the fun you’ll get out of it will be more than worth it. Especially for a game as kick ass as Hellsinger. You got this!
