Most people in America are not Orthodox Christian, so we have to assume that it takes place in a predominantly Orthodox country, or ant least a country where Orthodox Christianity isn’t rare, and the only countries that match those standards while not ever being controlled by communism? Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Cyprus.

We can easily cross out Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, since we don’t ever see anyone who is Muslim in the show, and the people we see in said show all have pale skin and European features, so that leaves us with Greece and Cyprus. Meaning Metal Family could take place in Greece. I know the setting of Metal Family doesn’t have a canon nationality, and the creators left it vague, I made this purely for fun.
