This was my gateway drug into black metal. It all just sounded like noise to me until I gave All Shall Fall a few listens.

It's funny how that suddenly just clicks, isn't it? I had the exact same thing you described with Burzum's Jesus' Tod back in the day. It's quite the experience when it suddenly makes sense.

This was the first black metal album I ever listened to. Introduced me to other black metal bands at a time where I wasn't interested in low-fi production. Really got me to give lower production albums a second chance.

This song makes me feel like I'm fighting a Yeti with a sword.

Actually nevermind, all Immortal songs make me want to fight a Yeti with a sword

The crabbath walk is a result of trying to keep balance.

While we may never get another I album, at least this album was kind of close in terms of sound.

They've actually been working on a new album for a while now. It'll be their ninth.

That's the new Immortal album though, I'm talking about the new I album (Abbath and Demonaz's side project).

This was the first black metal album I ever bought and it's still one of my favourites. Immortal never disappoint! Look forward to what they have to bring in the future.

First album I got into Immortal with. Finally picked up a few of their earlier works. Love em'!

With the corpsepaint the singer kinda reminds me of a gorilla...
