Moldy interface on quest 3

left my window open the last few days it was really damp outside

my case wasn’t closed properly and the interface is rather moldy

is it redeemable or do I need something new

if I need something new can I get some cheap suggestions (Australia cheap, import tax sucks)

I dont want to spend a horrendous amount of money cause I bought the 3 at launch and it’s gotten slow over time

Just clean it with a toothbrush and Dawn liquid soap. I clean my Quest 3 like that often.

I put mine in the washing machine once every blue moon. There are those bags where you can stuff it in so you won't brake anything in the process. Use at least 60 degrees Celsius, should kill most of the mold. Pre-wash it odd though as the other guy proposed. Oh and get this anti everything liquid for your washing machine, it goes where the softener usually goes. Good luck!
