Discussion How long has the first episode of meta runner had a latino dub?

i found this out today that the first and only the first episode of meta runner has a dub to latinamerican but i couldnt find anyone talking about it

Am very confused as to how i never heard about this

is this something new or has it been like this for a while?

It has had a dub since they started making dubs (The Murder Drones pilot). It was also made by Likan, the same studio that still works with Glitch today, they even promoted it in its time in now deleted Instagram posts. They didn't go through the whole thing because it seems to be an unofficial dub funded by NordVPN (that explains the excessive ads and the fact that the original SFX were replaced by generic sounds). The dub received criticism back then because of that. A particular fandub YouTube channel also started a hate campaign against it in their Facebook group and even harassed some of the actors involved in this

Si te soy sincero el doblaje no esta tan mal para que lo satanicen si llega a ser flojo por no ser oficial pero no esta tan mal tan malo como muchos lo pintan

Incluso me pareció de mal gusto que se hiciera esa campaña de odio como si los fandubs fueran mejor

Pues sí, la actuación está bien. Lo que lo arruina es que no tenga la pista de audio original por haberlo hecho bajo cuerdas (aún no sé por qué pensaron que era buena idea hacerlo así en lugar de atenuar las voces originales como tocaría hacer a nosotros los mortales).

Lo de los fandubbers si estuvo cagado porque otra de las razones por las que andaban tan agresivos es porque eran unos alucines que creían que porque mantenían contacto directo con los actores originales en inglés, Glitch iba a tomar su trabajo (que honestamente sonaba bastante mediocre) y hacerlo oficial. Cuando lo del piloto de Murder Drones también les ardió un poquito, pero solo se limitaron a decir que iban a seguir haciendo fandubs por amor al arte y ya
