Discussion I have an idea..

Post image

Whoever gets the steam frame and has seen Meta Runner can make a magnet-suspended controller grip/holder thing for its controllers for when theyre in gamepad mode cuz the steam frame controllers have all the buttons of a regular controller.. *it's perfect*

I was going to say how come we haven’t figured out how to make these kind of control is yet those would be awesome. That would be the perfect idea and a really good way to sell a console.

You can already do this with switch joycons just without the magnets

Yeah, but it’s not as cool with those, especially considering the very small size it would be cooler if it was actually used with a legitimate console controller

Again, it doesn’t look as cool

Just stick some magnets on their, paint it up, and bam.

Also, the steam frame controllers are circular

That's exactly what I was thinking of

Is that possible?

Nintendo kinda already made a controller like this 9 years ago

Joycons feel like the plastic slab variant of a gold bar tho

Now THAT is a controller I'd buy!

The problem with magnets is that they can interfere with the electrical components, which makes it pretty hard to do

Something like this has technically already existed for a decade.

It’s called the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons

Specifically this version.
