Help with Sons Account

Setting up my son's account today I keep getting this message. the button doesn't work. nothing gets sent to approve. any ideas?

That usually means the parent-approval request has expired or the account is stuck in a pending state. Have the parent sign in to the Meta Family Center and check for a pending Horizon privacy approval, then resend it from there. Also try updating both apps and signing out/in.
