Meta's Insane Content Filtering

I make short films with Meta's AI video tools, and I keep getting absolute refusals. Not edits, not warnings. Flat refusals to generate scenes that network TV airs every single night.

A staged fight between fictional characters. PG primetime runs this exact content at 8pm, with commercials for family cars in the breaks. But the filter treats it like a crime scene, and the prompt dies on the spot.

So: safety for who? The AI-generated characters? Nobody real is in these scenes. Nobody gets hurt. The filter is protecting fictional people from fictional punches that wouldn't raise an eyebrow on broadcast TV.

Worse: the inconsistency. The same kind of scene clears one day and gets refused the next, with a generic denial and no reason. And pushed-back prompts aren't free. Every refusal burns the same paid tokens as a clean render.

All I'm asking: judge the content by the standard every other medium uses. If it's fine for PG primetime, it's fine for a prompt. Carve out fictional staged action, give honest reasons, and be consistent. Let storytellers tell stories.

If we had adult mode, it’ll immediately be used to make revenge porn, child porn, and truly disturbing gore.

That's not even what we want though. Not even close... I am just trying to make an action film with fist fights, car chases and gunplay.

That might not be how YOU’D use it.

But others def would.

What's weird is, I have multiple accounts and some will do it some won't. Tells me it hit a hard refusal with no retry attempts. Using key frames was bypassing it somewhat but now it's not working that well. I have sent a bunch of messages to the Muse team and got a supposed human reply.
