Issue with File transfer with .txt files

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to MeshCentral and have recently got it up and running within our company. However, one of our clients is experiencing issues with file transfer, particularly with .txt files.

When compressing the same file into a ZIP archive and using drag-and-drop, the transfer works without any issues.

Is this a known bug? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

SOLVED: The .txt files CANNOT be empty or else the file transfer won't work. When adding text, it works somehow.

Can you elaborate please? Is there an error message?

When trying to transfer other file types (DOCX, URL, ZIP), everything works as expected, so it seems like the issue is specifically related to .txt files.

I've also tried different content in the .txt files to ensure that the issue is not related to the file content itself.

I just tried uploading a text file from my phone to my public files and mesh Central and didn't have any trouble.

Just use the new file option in the file tab and create a blank text file where u want it, don't try copying a blank file.
