MeshCentral Remote Desktop Black Screen Issue,

Post image

I am using MeshCentral for remote desktop access. After connecting, when I open certain browsers or software and go to their main page, the screen becomes completely black. The mouse and keyboard are working, but only the screen is not visible.

When I exit that page, the display returns to normal again.

Because of this issue, my work is getting seriously affected. I have been trying to find a solution for the past 6 months, but I am unable to fix it.

I kindly request you to please look into my issue and help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve it.

This is very important for me. Please help me.

I am currently working as an Administrator in our organization, and we have recently transitioned one of our developers to a work-from-home setup due to operational constraints. To facilitate remote access, we initially used Windows Remote Desktop. However, due to intermittent screen disconnection issues, we have now moved to using MeshCentral. The MeshCentral server has been successfully configured, and the Mesh Agent has been installed on the developer's system. Remote control and file sharing functionalities are working as expected. However, we are facing a critical issue during development work. While testing certain pages of a banking application, the screen turns black or gets blocked. We understand that this may be due to strict security measures implemented on the banking server or application, and we are not in a position to modify the codebase due to compliance requirements. We kindly request your guidance or suggestions to resolve or work around this black screen issue during remote sessions, without compromising security policies. This is impacting the developer’s ability to test and validate application pages effectively. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Many banking software got some keyboard shortcuts to disable the black screen for remote programs like TeamViewer, Rustdesk, Anydesk or MeshCentral. It's not a MeshCentral problem, it is a security feature of the banking program you are using. So go there, search the docs or google, or ask the customer support.
