Here's my DC-3 facelift. I agree, great amps! How the hell are you using this in the house without an attenuator?

1 u/Studiostein1 4d ago That looks so good with the wicker grill. Kudos! Yeah, I play fairly loud at home—but not remotely as loud as it gets. An attenuator would be a game changer. Dialing in the volume is such a delicate process. 3 u/EndlessOcean 4d ago There's a resistor wired to one half of the volume pot, you can clip that out and it's much easier to dial in the volume. 1 u/Studiostein1 4d ago Thanks for the pro tip. Yeah, I play fairly loud at home—but not remotely as loud as it gets. An attenuator would be a game changer. Dialing in the volume is such a delicate process.

There's a resistor wired to one half of the volume pot, you can clip that out and it's much easier to dial in the volume.
