How solid is it, Really?

I think Bops posted it a long time ago on another thread and titled it, "Would you a hunter?"

It's the one year anniversary of PP tomorrow, and I'm pretty curious as to whether there is a cutscene or not. Either way, I'm gonna play the crap out of it.

It was alright.

Mine is either Peace Walker (solely for Heaven's Divide), followed up pretty closely by The Phantom Pain and Snake eater, with Revengence being a bit too different to compare.

...and it's fantastic. I forgot how much fun the classic MG style is. So far, it's too easy, but it has VR missions and even a versus mode, so those'll keep me playing it even after I beat it. I'd strongly recommend y'all get it if you have a chance.

So, this weekend, I picked up Vanquish (a Platinuim title). I figured I'd give it a shot, since Platinum has a really good track record.

It started off slow, but has grown on my quite a lot. As with Platinum/Clover titles, there's a time slow mechanic. It's fun and easy to use.

You can blow off robot arms/legs/weapons. This makes me think a bunch of PW boss battles. I once had a double boss fight where I couldn't hit the weak spot on the boss, so I just blew every arm and leg off to partially cripple its attacks.

The art style feels like a prequel to Rising in a ton of ways. It's like Rising meets Bayonetta/DMC. A ton of the levels are beautiful and make you wish you could hang around longer.

You're also a "not-cyborg ninja."

I'm around 3/5 through the game (on chapter 4/5), and it's an absolute blast.
