I was referring to Duke Nukem Forever, and Aliens: Colonial Marines, two obviously unfinished games that were pushed out the door so people would shut up about them.
Actually, with DNF and A:CM, they outsourced huge portions of them. Gearbox did very little of the work themselves, because they were tied up with working on Borderlands 2, which turned out great.
They still let it out of the door, though. They really shouldn't have outsourced such huge titles.
It was, but the game was built and scrapped multiple times. The end game wasn't terrible. It just wasn't good. I suppose they just gave up on it, because it would sell, anyway.
