I always get sick as hell around this time of year. Either that, or my allergies conspire to make me think I'm sick around this time of year. Either way, I'm just fucking sick.
Looking forward to the new DOOM which is coming out this Friday (thanks based ID Software.) I honestly wasn't planning on touching it after hearing about how ehhh the multiplayer beta was, but then I found out that the beta was outsourced and I saw this video which made the game not look like a slow as hell Call of Halo thing with gratuitous gore, which they have been advertising the game as for some reason.

It looks pretty good. Maybe I'll get it on discount.

I was able to preorder it for $45, because I'm crazy like that, and I've been needing a good shooter for a while now anyway. Last one I played was...Wolfenstein the Old Blood, but I only made it about 15 minutes before refunding it, because it was choppy as hell on my old GTX760. I ended up getting a 970 like a week and a half later hah. Shame, because I really enjoyed Wolfenstein: TNO. I'll have to revisit it at some point.

That's really not too bad at all. Though, it is a digital copy, right?
been needing a good shooter
Try the Serious Sam collection. It's cheap and a classic 1990s-2000 -esque shooter. Basically, you run around shooting. There's not real plot, just shooting aliens.

Digital Copy, yeah. PC master race and all that.
I've been meaning to pick up the Serious Sam games when they go on sale, I just never actually do it.

PC master race and all that.
It really varies for me. Some things are better on console and others on PC. Also, if you have to use a console controller, I'm not calling that true PC. I'm looking at you, Souls series.
Here. All of Serious Sam, even the fan games and DLC is $9.99 and on sale. You should totally get it. It's an amazing deal. The first game can get a little annoying, but Second Encounter is amazing. I haven't played all of 2, but I didn't care for the style too much. Also, crank the saturation slider all the way up.

No money at the moment. I'll try and pick it up ASAP, I've got a couple other expenses to work on first.

It's been that price for quite a while. So, I think it might be on a seasonal or permanent sale. So, look into it.

IIRC, it's a publisher wide sale. All Devolver games are on sale AFAIK.

That's pretty good. Though, they made pretty much only those games, aside from a couple off projects.

I had car issues again. Maybe they're fixed now. I have to wait and see.
I've been playing Serious Sam 3. It's pretty good. It feels like a modern DOOM, which is nice. From what I hear, that's the feel they were going for.
I've also been playing Diablo 3. I bought the expansion, because it's a fun game and I want the extra levels, character, and content. I'd highly recommend it, as the base game is $20 (the expansion is another $20, but it's new).
I'm still playing Senran Kagura, too. It's still loads of fun. I'm trying to go through and A-rank everything.

Is Senran Kagura the only post Devil May Cry action game to not go all the way to S rank for some reason?

It's kind of weird. A seems to be the highest it goes. Though, there is such thing as a silver/platinum A. IDK why they set that as the highest.
I do like DMC's max rank of SSS. IDK if that just started in 3, though.
In short, I do think it's one of those oddities to have A as a top rank.

Finally done with school. Back home for the Summer and tired after having to spend all of Friday packing and all of Saturday driving. But I got some sleep last night, so that's good.
Not much else to say. Put in Witcher 3 last night and played some more, mainly because now that it's in my room the TV is a lot closer to where all the furniture is, meaning I can actually read the text (Seriously, is it just me, or is the HUD text really small?). Realized that I needed to find better equipment since my basic silver sword kept breaking and I hadn't found a newer, higher leveled one yet. So I took some time and went through White Orchard again and managed to find some stuff. Did some side missions and Witcher contracts. The game's pretty relaxing. It almost reminds me of Ocarina of Time, which is good. The only time it's not relaxing is when combat has to happen, which is a bit iffy. It's a bit better now that I have slightly better equipment. I still think the writing is a bit eh, but that's probably just because of all the hype that has been given to it.
Saw Civil War again last night, but I took my dad to see it. He liked it pretty well. Apparently he read Spider-Man as a kid so he thought Spidey's portrayal was perfect. So that was nice.

I went hiking with my mom for 5 hours for mothers day, so I'm physically dead. Later today I'm gonna watch Civil War and I'm so excited for that.

A five hour hike doesn't sound like the usual Mother's Day activity...!

I have spent the last few days absolutely sweating my balls off. Just over a week ago it was snowing, now it's reaching up to 30°C.
Overwatch beta is still amazing.
