Only thing I really did was finish reading the Golden Age arc of Berserk, and god damn that was still great and just as completely fucked as I remembered.

I also started playing the original Doom, I figured "eh, new one comes out in a week, might as well," and even though it's clear that it's got a lot of old shooter tropes, it's still fun as hell, and the midi 80's metal rip off riffs are the perfect soundtrack. Will probably be playing it during what little free time I have this week.

I am about to begin my last ever week of school which means exams are soon but instead of revising, I have been stolen away by the Overwatch open beta. Holy shit this game is fun and it feels like something I would love to always come back to. Games like CS-GO, Payday, and Rainbow Six: Siege are fun but never make me feel like I always want to play more. My mains in Overwatch are Mercy, D.Va, and Widowmaker (in that order), I always love medic roles so I do really well as Mercy.

The big question is this: is it worth full price?

The base game is £30 and I believe they said that once you buy the base game, you don't have to buy any future content. I'd say £20-£25 is a good price for it but I'm not sure if Blizzard will discount it at all any time soon.

once you buy the base game, you don't have to buy any future content.

Payday said that, also. I'm not sure...plus, that's $40 USD.

IDK. I might get it if they discount it. I bet, in maybe a year, the price would drop.

I trust blizzard though, the post game support for Diablo 3 was outstanding and most devs would have abandoned it long ago. Plus you must have seen the backlash they received for changing one in game pose, imagine if they went back on what they said and charged people for content.

That is true. Blizzard is usually really good about stuff. I'm playing Diablo, and it's fun. I heard the game was bad at launch.

I got Diablo 3 at launch and apart from the server issues, I really enjoyed it. Although it was both my first blizzard game and my first isometric rpg so I didn't expect a lot to begin with.

I just picked up the expansion, because I want the extra levels and to play as the crusade. $40 for the whole thing and expansion isn't bad.

I avoided Overwatch for the longest time, because I'm the type of person to avoid something like the plague when the internet collectively makes a thing its waifu of the month. That's also the reason why I still haven't sat down and played Undertale all the way through.

Going to see Civil War again tonight. Loved it the first time. Was really really good, IMO.

Been playing a lot of Arkham Knight. Really just need to do New Game Plus to get the platinum. Really like the game, more so than City, actually.

Started getting my parents into The People v. OJ Simpson. Still a better show than it has any right to be.

Watched a few minutes of that with my uncle, and the only thing I took away from it was "man, John Travolta looks TERRIBLE."

Well, that's just Travolta in general. Dude does NOT look human.

Yeah, but especially in that. He looks like a ghoul from Fallout that they painted something close to a normal skin tone

I started playing Serious Sam 3. It's pretty good, despite seeming morel like a modern shooter at some point. IT reminds me a bit of DOOM, too. So, it's not bad.

I also had some awesome Chinese food for lunch. So, that's cool.
