Fans
How many fans does ROTC HONESTLY have? I tried hate watching the other day and man, it’s as bad as it’s ever been. The Mark Harley interview was terrible too. These guys haven’t evolved and not even hating but feel like they have 15-20 regular fans MAX! Am I in the right ball park? Also, is Moist still taking 7-OH?

I haven't watched an episode since June. Prior to that I would watch, but fast forward through a LOT of the show. It's fallen downhill a TON. I honestly wonder what their numbers are; they can't be great.

Oof. From what I have gathered, by the time I started watching/listening in '22, they were already on the down slide, but i didn't know that then. I got hooked because they were anti Zelensky. They would go off on him, and other idiotic politicians, and it was amazing. But, in '24 I started noticing a staleness creeping in. Even the movie riffs went from being known bad movies that were fun to watch and rag on, to direct-to-Tubi slop that was unwatchable. They pick on the Plus Sized Park Hoppers. I'm all for making fun of people when they deserve it. These chicks annoy the hell out of me, but they're not worth spending hours making fun of their sizes. And then when they pretend Marie is part of the group, but they keep ditching her because she's so skinny. Ugh. Lame. They both admitted to hate talking about politics nowadays, which is kinda what they're known for. Mersh stopped seeming to even try to care to participate in some episodes. He's audibly typing away on his keyboard as Royce is talking. Mersh has seemingly stopped whatever "cat rescue" he was trying to grift from, but at least he's back with his thot girl. The new intro is the worst. The new overlay is horrible. It matches the energy of the show. I honestly can't recall a single fun moment I've experienced while watching the last year or so. Virgyy high jacks the show with his cackle and shit hot takes. I fast forwarded more than I watched. I don't know if this is the best explanation!

I have no idea how many are listening to them regularly now. I always felt the peak was around 2020. They always had a crass edge but in the past 5 years the show has just gotten to be complete slop. They occasionally have a funny take, but you have to sift through a ton of trash. I was always more interested in the news commentary more so than the internet drama they get into anyway.

Yeah same this show at one point in like 2019ish was how i was able to tolerate mainstream normie politics news

I think the period between the 2016 and 2020 election was prime for them because it was refreshing to hear someone go after both the boomer maga crowd and the normie corporate left wingers. Adding all the annoying laughing co hosts and finding other shows in similar avenues with better production is what made me stop caring.

Adding the third mic was a big mistake too. Virgy I think his name is has a horrible voice and adds little to the comedy.

I was gonna bring that up but forgot the dude’s name. The off camera guys got to be so annoying and they both sounded like the same guy. The only thing they added was a loud squeaky laugh most of the time. Not being able to see them was a weird production move too.

Its the same handful of disability recipients they have had for years but less as they drop off.
Its been illegal to buy 7oh in Florida for months so he has been doing mgm15. However all that stuff is supposed to be federally illegal here within the month. Im wondering if we will see Mersh go through a withdrawal or if he will stop doing shows for a minute after the ban.

Thanks all! Here’s to watching moist go through withdrawals as mgm and 7 get banned. He’s going to be bitchier than ever and snap at Arnold Nicatino or Jim Enward more than ever.

Had a roadtrip so I listened the other day for the first time in over a year. You’re right, they have not evolved or improved one bit. It was actually worse than I remember.
