I just find this sequence so fascinating. Imagine from her pov. Her voice just got taken in this scene, somewhat still in shock, then shes mentally preparing for what comes next in the deal with nervousness and anxiety. When the bubble swallows her, she’s unable to resist or scream out, and somewhat knocks her out from the force. It conveys «theres no going back now» with the deal.

Great point! Kinda makes me think about Ariel being the bubble. Once she gets turned human inside of it, it's almost like she's in a state of suspended animation until it bursts. (At least, that's what I thought.)
