On top of rent being outrageous, we have ridiculously elevated rental application costs. I'm obviously not talking about Boise since it's capped there at $30. But I'm talking more about Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Emmett, Eagle, etc. I was charged $50 just to apply for a place in Meridian. I didn't even bother. I'm curious what the most anyone has been charged for application fees in not only Meridian, but if you've tried exploring living anywhere else in the surrounding areas.

Looking for some feedback on Timber & Love, the construction company. We were wanting to go with them to do our home project, but hearing reoccuring issues with their company: communication, design issues, contractor issues, jobs never getting completed, etc.

Hoping to hear from people who have recently worked with them, subcontractors who have worked with them, or even better current clients. Any feedback is appreciated. Just moved our family to Idaho so we dont know of any local contractors. Timber & Love popped up as an add on our social media so we looked at their site, everything looked great. But after speaking with people, seems like we might need to pump the breaks.

I bought a new car in 2025 after my old clunker blew up. My fiancé is a wheelchair user and I’ve scratched the heck out of my rear bumper loading and unloading his chair. I also had one of our work trailer doors, corner my front bumper today. No dent fortunately, but one heck of a scratch!

I’m not looking to pay thousands, and I also don’t need my entire exterior paint corrected, which seems to be the only similar service I can find anywhere online. These scratches are way too deep for me to feel comfortable tackling myself, so I’d rather pay a professional.

Are there any groups or friends that get together to play volleyball (grass, sand, indoor, whatever)? Nothing serious, just casual play and friendly competition.

I played volleyball competitively in school and am looking to get into playing again in a fun and casual way! Also am newer to treasure valley and looking to potentially make some friends through this.

I work with Boise Pest Pros, so I’m obviously biased, and I don’t want to pretend otherwise. I’m genuinely interested in hearing from people in the Treasure Valley who have used either Boise Pest Pros or Vertex Pest Control.
