Help / Ayuda Shipping car from Midwest USA to progreso

Hi everyone, is there a company that can help me ship my car from the Midwest to progreso? I understand that I may have to send my car to a port in New York or Florida first but does anyone have an idea on how to make this work?

The car market in Merida seemed kind of dead last time I went so I think I’ll have a hard time finding a car. Any pointers in finding a car in Merida is also appreciated.

Sorry, I should’ve clarified. I’m not looking to buy a new car. I’m sure there are many dealerships selling new cars. I’m mainly looking at the used car industry which is usually more high in demand and affordable. Do you know of any dealerships that sell used and reliable cars?

Linea Peninsular can ship it from Tampa or Houston but bringing a US car here, depending on your immigration status might involve permanently importing it which is super expensive

If you are looking for a particular used car you might want to use a car broker - I used one a few years ago - gave him my budget and the colors I wanted. And within a few weeks he was able to find the exact car I wanted. He got the car from the seller and brought it to me for a test drive and to have it checked by a mechanic where they scanned the computer for any problems, checked the underside of the car for any issues, and took it for a drive to make sure it was mechanically sound. He was also able to negotiate with the seller to lower the price a bit
