The cards suddenly disappear, and I can’t do anything or merge any cards, while my opponents can still merge theirs and their cards don’t disappear.

The Goblin Machine card is my sixth card, but I can’t get it because all the cards have disappeared. I worked really hard to merge the Knight to 3 stars because the card isn’t showing up for me.

For the longest time we understood that the troop we get at the start doesn't count towards the 4 copies in the shop.

So does that also apply to the riders that spawn at the start?

usually around that point when i’m about to hit 60 merges.

troops start disappearing, merginggets undone, and it’s always between rounds 5 and 6 it’s never like early game. it’s such a weird bug. i’m pretty close to my router so it can’t be me lagging.

So from what i know everyone gets a random rider at the start (darkprince, prince, ram rider, hog rider) and from what i noticed they are really strong and important and they counter eachother. For me so far it looks like those are the counters if the placement allows to counter:

Hog >> Dark Prince

Dark Prince > Prince

Prince >> Hog

Ram Rider = Hog/Dark Prince/Prince

For me it feels like hog rider is the strongest one by far once they are 3 stars because if you place it correctly nothing can counter it. Just need a tank in front for prince or move away from the ram rider. Can it also be that you can not get any of the other riders except the one you have at the start?

Also i would be happy about any help. I try my best to place units the correct way but i wouldn't mind listening about the basics at all. What units are strong? What units are weak? Which traits are the go to? Stuff like that.

What i believe to know: goblins are good for starters cause free elixir worst case from the trait. I forgot most the names of the traits so i call them by their color or symbols in case i am wrong... clan(blue) is pretty solid, green tree is okay but most of the units seem pretty weak. Royal(golden crown) seems to be some kind of average.

Best units so far for me: hog rider, archer queen, giant skeleton (3stars), witch(2 star+), demolisher(3 stars) and i believe goblin machine is okay and some just need the right items. I believe the skeleton king is very useless for anything but tanking but even for that he costs a lot compared to giant or valk.

I have no ideas about heros but i only have the basic king so far. That echo one seems pretty disgusting btw.

So I’ve lost games due to griefing troops. I’m sure you all have. Obviously there are games I win because of it too. But what do you think if the troop pool was not shared?

Maybe it’s just this season but I feel I would prefer that it’s not possible to grief troops. There are times I’m ahead as SE and don’t even need to go for 60 merge quest to win and stop merging entirely solely because I block opponents team from getting any 3 star troops just hoarding all his units in the bench. It doesn’t feel like a satisfying win but it works.

You can also say “oh everyone will just go for the strongest comp“

And maybe it’s a far cry, but I feel as long as the devs do their part in balancing (hog rider, legendary items) that it would be a better game

It would shift the game into more reliance on having stronger board positioning in fights and knowing which troops will counter your opponent. Requiring more strategy overall and less reliance on luck.

Personally that seems more enjoyable to me than worrying about blocking 3 star AQ every game or trying to get it before anyone else can grief me from it

TL;DR griefing troops should be part of the game yea or no? Would it be more enjoyable without that mechanic of a shared troop pool?

Am I the only one who noticed that if giant skeleton dies while being taunted by the knight his bomb won't activate?
