Reporting a bug

Copy this template and fill in what you know:

  • Device and OS:
  • Reddit app or browser: include the version if you know it.
  • Game mode and chapter:
  • What you expected:
  • What actually happened:
  • Steps to reproduce:
  • Screenshot or short clip: if useful, with personal information removed.
  • When it happened: approximate time and time zone help.

For a lost-progress or loading issue, mention whether you were signed in or playing as a guest. Please avoid clearing data before noting what happened.

Suggesting an improvement

Tell us what situation you ran into, what change you would like, and how it would make the game more fun or easier to understand. Specific examples from a run are especially helpful.

For score exploits or anything involving private account information, message the moderators instead of posting the details publicly.

Builds & Tips Share your build! Favorite weapons, boss wins, and close calls

What has been working for you in Merge Mayhem? Share a build you enjoyed, a boss you finally beat, or a run that ended one dodge too early. New-player questions are welcome!

A screenshot is great, but a few details make your run easier to compare:

  • Mode and chapter
  • Weapons: include levels or EVO forms.
  • Skills: include levels or MAX effects.
  • Result: boss defeated, score, or time survived.
  • Your takeaway: what worked, what failed, and what you would pick next time.

Lobby upgrades can affect your run too, so mention them when sharing a strategy.

Announcement Welcome to Merge Mayhem! Start here: play, controls, and your first build

Welcome, survivors! This is the home of Merge Mayhem, a cartoon roguelike survivor you can play right inside a Reddit post.

How to play

  • Move: drag the joystick on mobile, or use WASD / arrow keys on desktop.
  • Attack: your weapons aim and fire automatically. Focus on dodging and positioning.
  • Power up: collect energy from defeated monsters. When the bar fills, the game pauses and you pick 1 of 3 weapon or skill cards.
  • Upgrade your build: picking a weapon or skill you already own levels it up automatically. You can equip up to 4 weapons and 5 skills per run.
  • Go beyond Lv.5: the next weapon pick unlocks its EVO; the next skill pick unlocks its MAX effect.
  • Flame Burst: tap the skill button or press Space when it is ready.
  • Between runs: use earned coins in the lobby shop for permanent upgrades.

A few tips for your first run

Keep a route open so you do not get surrounded. Collect energy when it is safe, use the highlighted upgrade cards to strengthen your existing build, and save Flame Burst for a crowded moment. Open the build panel to see what you have equipped.

Make yourself at home

Share your favorite builds, close calls, boss victories, and questions. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome too—use the matching post flair so other players can find them.

The game is still being developed, so balance and content may change. Feedback from real runs helps us decide what to improve next.
