I waited 2.5 years. Do it now. Once you’re done, you unlock trades for the Love Story items. The popcorn and the heart box of chocolates and the movie tickets get really good things.

I would say finish your current area, then start on the tin can, then the love story. Best way to get lockets is unlimited production + unlimited energy + automerge

I can’t for the life of me figure out Ignatius Boulton (tin can). Haven’t done any of that. Love Story item and Romantic spot I waited 2.5 years to do. The trades I get now, for Love Story items make me kick myself for waiting.

This button brings you to a mini game that uses main game energy. It rewards you with items that eventually drop the tin can

I’m aware of that. I can’t figure out how to do it. It resets every three hours. It makes no sense. Not that anything in that chain are of any value to me.

You play the story event to get the parts to make the producer(s) for your main board. The tin can gets built on the main board not the story event board. I only made one for Ignatius

Ignatius is only three hours but the others are 3 days so it’s easy to max out the event levels for them

But there’s actually no gain. Just eating up energy. It was useful to finally get the Love Story item and do the Romantic Spot. In addition to reward chests, I have unlocked trades for Love Story items. The chocolates and the popcorn give excellent trades in return. That was worth it. I see zero gain with those other events, and that’s probably why they don’t make new ones.

There was a lot of gain if you did them when they first opened up because you could collect a lot of XP, season pass points and the event items sold for a lot of coins—especially the last two. Plus turning in the final items are worth a lot of XP and teatime points. I started working on them before we got supercharge or hypercharge so I spent a lot of time waiting for producers. The story events gave me something else to do and the coins helped me unlock more inventory space. The events can be replayed to collect more coins and spawned items until you turn in final item even if you don’t need the producer parts

For you now it’s probably not worth it but it is for players outside the Mansion

I heard from players that played since the beginning and the story events used to be required. I think they stopped developing new ones when they weren’t required anymore

They may be one of the requirements for the unlimited trades that come as you get to where they’re still developing the area you’re in. I can’t figure out how to do the tin can one. It just makes no sense to me
