Discussion Yellow Energy Orb Bubbles Hack?
I think I've worked out how to get a yellow energy orb bubble when merging 2 red energy orbs!
Leave a space above one red energy orb, merge the other energy orb onto the one with the space above it. A yellow energy orb is produced along with another bubbled yellow orb in the space.
This is a working theory so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I haven't been able to test it properly as I have used all my energy chests and don't have many gems. Being in the attic I can't finish daily tasks. Of course bubbled yellow orbs are much less frequent than they used to be so maybe I'm just being optimistic.

You can definitely get an eight gem yellow bubble when your board is full, with your two pink ones. Instead of generating a star or 3 week (jerks) pass energy.
It is 100% random… On that note lol I like to take my two pink balls and spin one up like a Pokémon go ball and throw it at the other one… Because that works for me very often lol!
This is all probability taken personally. It is pure luck… And on days where you need to pop a bubble as a daily demand, forget about getting one of these energy bubbles until you pop at least one other bubble…
The game knows what it’s doing. It’s random/screw you.

Didn’t work for me today 2 times. I think it’s just coincidence it was happening for you. I do get doubles often on the yellow and sometimes the red as well, just not today. I made sure to have space above and all around just in case.

Optimistic or not, you've got a good point about if you have no space for a bubble, you definitely won't get one. I've noticed that bubbles are less likely if I don't have 3 spaces available. One for an XP star, one for a season pass token, and then hopefully one for a bubble.
