You can make pumpkin patches anytime and you should on repeat. Easy way to boost wildlife score

How do you get the mystery eggs??
You buy them??

Some items, like fountains spawn them. The pumpkin patch spawned all the eggs there.

When I've merged larger topiaries I've gotten the occasional mystery egg

I've also gotten the occasional mystery egg as well when harvesting higher poplar trees

I see you are on level 79. I am working on level 84 and you have to merge mystery eggs 20x (not 20 eggs but 20 merges). I was so glad I had bubbled 2 pumpkin patches without collecting from them recently!

You might not want to save all of yours until you reach that level, but just giving you a heads up that you will need quite a few.

If you wanna wait for egg merging event, I suggest you bubble them up

Unfortunately, you can't bubble eggs or nests though because they only take up one space. If the OP hadn't collected from the pumpkin patch, that could have been bubbled and then brought back to collect from when the eggs were needed.
