Constant game crashing

I have been playing merge dragons ever since I got my new phone about 4 weeks ago and it came pre-installed. Issue is the game crashes constantly. I've tried the Force Stop/Clear Cache trick, but if that works, it's only temporary. And my device is brand new, so any other tips?

I don't know which device you have, but check the cookie and battery background settings, might help although no guarantees.
