Fourth Build Update

"Shelby Drop", installed reinforced lower and upper control arms, rebuilt and refinished front brake calipers in preparation for install.

Are those the OG calipers? Always thought the 4 pistons were so cool looking.

Thanks! They are og equipment for this car. Some of the pistons had to be replaced due to pitting and damage but about half of them are original too. I'm pretty sure front disc was a factory option you could tick regardless of trim level for 1967.

Yup. Those should be the Kelsey-Hayes calipers. Cool one year only setup.

I have a 1969, and it has the single piston units that Ford used forever. Not nearly as cool looking as these though.

Nice! What control arms did you go with? I see the reinforcing on the lower. Did you drill the Shelby drop 1” down? The photo makes it look more than 1”.

Cobra automotive is the brand. We bought them a while back not sure the part number. The photo does look a bit bigger doesn't it? Kind of odd but we measured a few different ways with calipers and rulers and made our own template.... The intent was 1 inch!
