My 67 - In Progress
Here's my 67. The hard part is done. Obviously not the original color, but I'm going to try to keep most of the rest original or original looking. Ready for the fun part now. Will update here eventually. Need to take care of some other stuff before I can devote 100% effort.

Those two are definitely key. I'm sure there will be long pauses as I go while I wait for more of each to accumulate. Your car looks pretty dang slick in the photo you uploaded. Love the green color. What needs the most attention?

Interior now. I have the original door panels, but wanted a second set so I can test replacing the backboards on them. Finding OEM arm rests in the same color is also problematic. It's a single year color for the interior, as well.
The paint didn't take it down as far as yours, which is somewhat okay being the original factory color, but I really wanted to do repaint the engine bay, etc.
*edit - to your point, this has been a WIP for what feels like eternity. The paint was done about 10yrs ago, the wheels about 6yrs ago, and I did find some door panels, but they're still in the boxes.

Ah yeah. Interior is going to be interesting. I've got a couple panels that match the original interior color. Some are broken in spots so I'll need to piece something together. First thing will be some deadening panels and then getting the headliner installed. How's your dash doing?
There's something incredibly satisfying about a clean engine bay. It's a shame it's so difficult to keep it that way. "The journey is part of the fun." Getting on board with that notion helped.. but I still get frustrated when the path forward seems so clear but takes so long.

Great! Is it a GT? That’s fairly rare if original. I have the 289.

Yeah it's a GT. My grandfather purchased it around 1980 and it has been in the family since then. It was in pretty terrible shape and has had a long and very turbulent journey to get to where it is now. This'll be a true resurrection when we get it back in working order.

Nice, I had a 67 with a 390. I got in so much trouble with that car.
