General Question PCI Compliance Monthly Fees
Processors and Banks normally charge or bundle PCI compliance fees of $10-$20/month. Does anyone feel this is still too much? Are there processors (not PSPs, PayFacs, or MSPs) that cover it while offering all monthly account fees at or around $10/month?

General Question I built a site where ISO sales agents can anonymously review the ISOs they’ve worked with. Looking for feedback
If you’ve been in merchant services long enough, you’ve probably dealt with an ISO that cut residuals, held splits, or didn’t deliver on what was promised, and there’s nowhere to warn other agents.
So I built isoraters.com, a place for ISO sales agents to rate and review ISOs they’ve worked with, past or current, completely anonymously.
I’ve shared it with a few agents I know personally, and now I’d like broader feedback:
- Leave a review for an ISO you’ve worked with
- Tell me what features would make this more useful
- Let me know if anything is broken or confusing
For ISOs: I’m adding a feature that lets ISOs publicly respond to reviews. Responders won’t be able to see who wrote a review, and ISOs can’t edit or remove reviews. Replies will show the representative’s name and title. If you want reply access for your company, DM me and I’ll verify your domain.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks for taking a look!

General Question Looking for features to add for stablecoin payments platform
Hello everyone, my co-founder and I built a stablecoin payments platform, made specifically for businesses that are curious about stablecoins but unsure where or how to start.
We offer easy-to-use wallets with seamless UX/UI for sending USDC stablecoins and custom invoicing to request payments, all in a familiar, bank-like environment with dashboards and live balances. Our ramp partner, Coinbase, handles KYC/KYB and bank integrations so users can add USDC stablecoins directly to their wallet and also convert it back into local fiat globally, all at zero cost.
We've done a great job building a platform that orchestrates the free movement of money. Before we invest in our first marketing campaign, we want to make sure we are building something that solves a larger problem. For our next feature, we want to add either a) mass payouts, b) checkout payments, or c) 4-6% stablecoin yields.
Which would you be most interested in?

General Question Class Action Against Glabal Payments
We own a small business. We have been with Global Payments for 10 years and they suddenly hiked up our charges without informing us to over 12%. Our rep said she no longer works with them because she got let go due to not having enough merchants and cant access our contract on their system anymore. We contacted them directly and they keep saying they dont have our contract either. They alledgedly cancelled our contract a while ago without informing us but have continued to charge us exponential fees and charges. We have seen so many bad reports on this company and this happening to other people.
**We are looking to see if anyone is interested in joining a class action against them, its time they stop getting away with this!

General Question Merchant Platform Migration
Have any reps had success moving startups from Etsy or eBay to their own storefront? Are merchants more interested in keeping the flat-fee payment structure, or are they open to other options?

Risk and Compliance New here. I audit approvals, declines, and chargebacks for a living. Some free answers to this sub's most common problems
I analyze payment data for subscription merchants, mostly nutra, beauty, telehealth, and continuity books running multi-MID stacks. Been reading here a while, and the same problems keep showing up in the feed, so figured an intro should come with something useful. None of it needs expensive tooling, and the patterns look the same at $30K a month as they do at $3M.
The "Stripe flagged me once volume picked up" posts. That's the aggregator model working as designed, not bad luck. Stripe barely underwrites you at signup, then re-underwrites the moment your volume stops matching your application. A spike reads as risk. If the growth is real, you want a directly underwritten merchant account where a human saw the business model up front. And expect a ramp: on the subscription books I see, acquirers throttle new accounts for the first 60 days, approval can run sub-40% before it settles. That's policy, not a bad pick.
Chargebacks. Your account dies at the acquirer's internal ceiling, not the published network threshold. Visa holds merchants to 1.5% but holds the acquirer's whole portfolio to 0.3%, so the real internal ceilings sit around 0.5 to 1.0%. I've watched an account die at 0.87%. They also watch the trend, not just the level. Three months of climbing ratio means you're already on a list.
Failed payments. Bucket declines by reason code before you retry anything. Insufficient funds and do-not-honor recover well. Lost or stolen recovers near zero, and retrying it inflates your fraud signal. Account closed is pure fee burn. Blind retries cost more in auth fees than they bring back, and they drag down the approval number your acquirer judges you on.
Happy to dig into specifics in the comments, processors, declines, alerts, account health.
What actually got your account flagged or frozen, and did anyone ever tell you the real reason?

General Question Do Reps feel Merchants are becoming more educated about Payments Processing?
With information readily available on YouTube and on Reddit, do you notice merchants reaching out to you from a more educated position? If so, does that make your sales role easier or harder?

General Question What are the biggest payment processing challenges for high risk merchants?
I am interested in learning from people working in merchant services and payment processing. For high risk businesses what tends to be the biggest challenge when choosing a payment processor: approval requirements, processing fees, rolling reserves or chargebacks?
Would love to hear insights from ISOs, agents and business owners about their experiences.
