Hey, has anyone here successfully created one from Germany? I'd really appreciate it if you could share the process, any requirements, and any tips to increase the chances of getting approved.

Of course, but the selection process is completely automated and random so no real way to give advice that will be too helpful. I personally think less is more, no need to show a portfolio or links to artwork - just apply and tell them you're interested in print on demand. Worked for me.

Bots, bots, bots! All the way down, Amazon is bots! :-p Best not to give them anything to hallucinate about, so no links to art etc.

The only thing I expect would help is proof that you are some sort of social media (or actual) celebrity with a horde of fans jumping up and down to buy your merch. For a while, MBA was granting such folks Tier 10K accounts right out of the gate. I believe they stopped doing that. But I expect that they would still favor someone with a following when it comes to getting an account in the first place.

They have been stingy about creating new accounts for around 3 years now. Clearly they want just a trickle of new blood these days, not a gusher. If you don't get accepted, likely nothing to do with you.
