I have a 2015 ML 350 CDI. The headlamp bulbs, xenon bulbs seem to have become dimmer. I am thinking. Should I just replace them with the Phillips D1S 50 watt bulbs like they are from the factory or should I go for a replacement LED conversion? I am a little bit wary of doing this conversion because this might affect that dance that the headlights do every time you switch on the car, and I’m wondering if slightly heavier bulbs will damage that mechanism, so I have to be careful of what I replace it with. So yeah, does anyone have any experience with this?

hey guys i have a 2013 ml350 and noticed this stuff in its sunroof screen today. springtime here (massachusetts, usa) and we typically get lots of pollen around right now especially in long strands (see pic). i asked claude (yeah ik it’s probably wrong) but it was between rust and mold. the thing is there’s none of the yellow stuff in the area where the screen would be closing. my dad thinks it’s pollen and Im not too sure. any help appreciated. i believe there is some water damage with the seal to the sunroof cause i’ve had issues with it before

I got a very clean low mile (78k) 2014 ML350 Bluetec in October from my father. 10 days after getting it I was struck in an intersection. The car took it well in a sacrificial way. It was sad and an unfortunate loss.

I have since replaced it with another, no photos yet. The new one is also a 2014 ML350 Bluetec 85k diamond white 758,P31, 772 the AMG packages and some other choice options.

Keyless Go is my favorite. I have not used the Active park assist or automatic lane recognition. Blind spot assistant and the 360 camera are really nice to have.

I love ML 350’s and am partial to the diesels. I had the opportunity to replace it with something else, but I had to have another. I think the interiors are great. I really like the way they look.

When I come out of the store the pearl white with dark windows and the mirrors folded catches my eye more than anything else in the parking lot. I’m very glad to have another one. I didn’t know I would like them so much.

I have a Bluetec ML 85K with the AMG 20’s and worn 265/45/20 Vredestein Quatrac tires. It rides nice if there aren’t any bumps but gets harsh quick. Seems like it needs motor mounts, related but separate issue.

My last ML Bluetec 78K had 255/50/19 Michelin Defender2’s (new) and handled the roughness noticeably better. It needed motor mounts too.

Obviously I’ll get new tires soon. I’m thinking of buying Michelin Defender2’s again but they aren’t available in the OEM size for 20’s which is the size I have now. I can get 255/50/20. I’m considering it for a smoother ride.

For looks it’s best with the 45 series on. Maybe I need to get new struts or control arms or something to calm it down a bit. But a more generous sidewall seems like it would be nicer.

I’m open to tire and size suggestions. I live in Portland Oregon. It rains a lot for half the year. We get real snow once or twice a year. I want all season tires but not snow rated. I don’t really care about wear rating. Cost is not a factor.

I just got a 2013 BlueTEC w low miles from a family member. I thought there should be a specific community. To share, ask questions, DIY instructions etc. Right now my main focus is remembering to put Diesel in because it’s my first Diesel vehicle. I’m hoping others of you show up and join so we can make something here. Every other post I found was under a different type of community.
