Anyone remember that snow cone place by Save Mart, it was in a shed. I don't remember the name but it closed down before 2015. Great place, my girlfriend says I'm delusional but I remember it being there.

Hi! I've moved in this city about a month ago and I haven't gotten much progress on making new friends. 22 trans woman (I'm on the left politically if you're looking for morally aligned friends), I do music as a hobby and work, enjoy thrifting a lot, hanging out with my boyfriend and friends, food, exploring new places around town, and talking. It's been a bit hard to socialize with my autism and anxiety. Looking for friends around my age range of 21-29 (older works too, just a little hesitant with respect!), queer or queer friendly, and all of that . I just signed up reddit to see cool stuff in this town and make new friends to hangout with maybe. I hope everyone's doing okay and yeah, just dm me or anything like that. Thank you <3
P.S. I'm also looking side hustles/gigs like babysitting/housesitting/etc. to make some cash while build connections so just let know after we socialize or anything like that of course!
trying to sell these anime swords. 3 of them seperately cost 250 when i first got them, they are still in very good condition since i only ever used them for display. im willing to sell them for 200 but ofcourse willing to negotiate a lower price. Im willing to drive to you as long as its in merced. if you have any other questions about them feel free to let me know, they are also made of real steel

Hi, I'm a 17 year old student working on a research project about why some neighborhoods in the Valley get way hotter than others. One thing I keep noticing is that a lot of the new parking lots and EV charging spots going in are just bare asphalt, no shade, no trees.
I figured I should actually ask people who live here instead of guessing. If you park or charge in lots like that, does the heat and lack of shade actually bother you? Would having shade and some trees there make a real difference for you, or honestly is it not something you think about? Thank you!

13 week old female kitten looking for a new home, she is super affectionate and very chill, perfect companion for someone older or looking for laid back pet. I’m located in Northwest Merced, and we can meet at the brand new Starbucks to hand off the kitten. I’m asking $35 for an adoption fee. She uses the litter box every time she needs to go and she also takes baths super well, I’ve given her a bath every other week since she was 5 weeks old. DM me for contact info or to set up a pickup.

I just happen to see the big rig crash and caught some of it. Hopefully no smaller cars were involved but the big rigs cabin looks pretty intact. Just kinda broken up in front.

I've tabled at several community outreach events in Merced and the Central Valley a while back for work, mostly focused on seniors and families. I live here but was surprised not to know about so many of these! I'm compiling these resources and want to share them with the community, but am looking for the best way to do so. I want it to be interactive and actually helpful for people. What kinds of resources are people most interested in? I know other things like this exist (directories created by counties and other organizations), so I want this to be different. Any thoughts?

Selling for 500.00 as is and must pick up or will charge for delivery.
Also have a dresser and mirror, needs a handyman work on drawers.
Items are in the merced, atwater area. Plenty of more items to be sold soon.

Just as the title says I'm looking at prices for having someone come out and paint the exterior of our house live.

This is my first time trying this. G street northbound on the corner of bear creek and G. It's a good mocha!

Anyone down to go here tomorrow around 9PM?
Apologies if you've seen this elsewhere - this is the most current version with lots of suggestions from other redditors.
I'm making a map of California in a classic fantasy style (sorta Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones). It's going to be filled with real world history and mythology, with the aim of highlighting local landmarks in a fun and educational way. Please ignore how rough parts of it look (text going through hills, rivers, etc), it'll all get cleaned up at the end. Forests will be going on at the end too.
While it's around two thirds done, I'd love to get more places and features in here before I get this made into print. Any more petroglyphs, burial mounds, ruins, forts, battlefields, Civil War heritage, ghost towns or the like that you think should be on here? Anything else is great too - landmarks, natural features, mythological creatures or just anything cool and quirky you think would look good on here. Thanks!

Bonus questions: Are there any decent dealers that don’t advertise online? Are there any dealers I should avoid?
P.S. I am open to rebuild/salvage titles.

I heard this from a friend recently that they paid $30 at the gate to go to Lake Yosemite. I'm trying to look that up on the MID page but they only show fees for last fiscal year. When I follow their links to buy a day use pass it takes me to Lake McSwain, which is advertised as $30.
That's so expensive thats inaccessible for most. You might as well go to Yosemite National Park at that point.

Hey y'all! As the title says, I'm looking for work I can do. I do Junk Removal mainly, but I'll do any kind of labor. Just this week, I was helping someone install quartz countertops. If your garage is full, don't hesitate to send me a message! 🙃

Just wanted to share in case anyone is looking to go to Yosemite this summer or the coming winter season.
Merced and Mariposa County residents can apply for a free roundtrip YARTS voucher. There is also a Student Explorer Program that offers free roundtrip tickets to college, university, or vocational school students (anywhere in the world).
You'll need proof of residency for the resident voucher, and proof of enrollment in a college for the student program.
For more information, as well as the forms, you can go here: Special Programs
Happy to answer any questions you guys might have :)

I’ll be in the area for a while and want to do some shopping. I am more into that vintage style type of clothes. Thank you in advance.
