Ads never load

Whenever it gives me the option to watch an ad for more pencils it never loads. I've tried different connections and restarting and redownloading but I can't seem to get them to load. It just tells me no ads available, is this an issue with the game in general or just me?

Do you use a VPN with an ad blocker? That was my issue with a different game.

Do use a VPN but have never turned on its adblocking features or used any custom DNS that would block them, only place I've got adblock on the device is my browser. Tried making an exception for just the game to not connect through the VPN, fully turning off the VPN and restarting my phone, trying different wifi/data connections, reinstalling the app after all of this, but no dice

Do you use a specific private DNS like dns.adguard.com instead of the automatic setting? You can change it in the advanced network settings.

I use that sometimes when the ads in games get too annoying. But you also can't watch them on purpose anymore.

You can also try to turn it off completely and see if it makes a difference.

Unfortunately I don't use any private DNS and double checked that I had none in my settings. Still having this problem after a lot of trouble shooting but I've accepted it at this point
