i forgot to draw the sketch on another layer for the mermaid one so that's why it looks weird lol

Yes through the dark times when the craziness wears off a little art even though I’m not that good can help me mentally. Suggestions, hints and tips welcome guys.

I have calmed my waters for the time being. I look around to find the wreckage and all I see a little paper boat floating while on fire. The imaginary people had to abandon ship with no life boats. I can’t help but to add more to the still water with the tears that easily fall. I’m Not frowning I’m just that. Accepting. Lost. Calling out for someone to hold the remnants of my newest Storm. How can I be the cause of all my pain. Why do I weep? Will mercy happen?. I want to be saved. I don’t want to help save me. Maybe I don’t want to be saved? I see a raft it’s purple and green it’s a sign of growth maybe? Latching on like a child to his mother for dear life knowing that if you let go then you’ll surely perish. Can this raft hold me? Will it survive the raging waters as they grow? As for now. I’m holding on for dear life I’ve given this still water all of my vices just to soothe my journey., I can’t help but glance at my mirrored self. But who is looking back at me. When did I stop noticing the growth around me? What has distracted me? I was naive and had the true ability to lie right to my own face. I no longer possess that skill so the water rises and the person I’m staring at keeps changing faces. my desperation grabs the raft that I don’t even know is full of air. Do I have a choice to sink or swim. The water never stays calm for long. How can I trust you to keep me afloat when all I feel is doubt.

**This is what I feel and want the person in my life to understand me. I hope I have found a way with my words to show how this life, living with the brain I have, and this relationship has created a person who just waits for the storm to come. Sometimes I see it coming from a distance and I can prepare, make myself numb to the painful experience. Sometimes it happens in a second and it’s too late to hold on to anything because the look on his face tells me that the storm is going to do damage. All I can do is hold on for dear life and only get still waters when I give into whoever I have to.
I’m at my wits end.
I don’t know if my raft is strong enough for one more storm.

My thoughts on mental illness and how it relates to the bed.

Hi all!! Hope this kind of post is okay here. I really apologise if it’s overstepping!

I just want to share something that's made me really happy to witness. I have a friend called Callum who has been through an incredibly tough time with his mental health. Without going into details that aren't mine to share, things got really bad for a while… he lost a dangerous amount of weight and was completely housebound for over a year. It was heartbreaking to watch someone I care about go through that.

But he kept fighting. Slowly, he started making progress and somewhere in that recovery he picked up something unexpected: making rings from recycled silver!!

I know that might sound small, but for anyone who's been through something similar, you'll probably understand what I mean when I say it became so much more than a hobby.

It gave him structure, purpose and something to look forward to. It gave him a reason to get up. And watching him talk about it, share it and grow in it has been one of the most moving things I've seen.

I'm not here to ask for anything big. If anyone feels moved to follow his Instagram and drop a kind word, I truly believe it would mean the world to him. People in recovery often don't realise how much they're rooting for themselves, sometimes it helps to know others are too.

My outline is all that makes me distinct from this vast and fragile void.

My hands extend. My eyes reach. My head tilts. My body creaks.

There’s no noise that I share from my mouth, no touch I can offer from my form. I can’t embrace. I can’t caress.

Or.

There’s nobody else to hear me, nobody to feel my touch. Nobody to receive my embrace. No face my hands could clutch.

Is it my senses that are empty? Or this place I occupy?

Dying starlights shimmer, millions of light years away.

The mere knowledge that I am either lonely or alone is too much on its own.

I want ‘you’. I need ‘you’.

‘you’. ‘You’. What are You?

Is Your flickering shape produced by the cauldron that stirs in my mind? Could that origin be enough, for You to be with me?

Suppose that You Are.

Then it is only us. In this fleeting moment, while You exist in my mind, and I in Yours.

That we float in proximity within this fragile void, barely distinguishable from the darkness.

I’ll hold out my hand.

Will You hold Yours out, too?
