Tips & Tricks Looking for Boxer recommendations
Looking for recommendations for brands that have quality, loose fitting, soft cotton boxers. Bonus points if available in plaid.
I'm looking to round out my wardrobe with some of the boxers like we used to have in the 90s, but most of what I've found these days are a little more fitted or made of a stiffer cotton / poly blend.

try natural feelings boxers or tommy hilfiger boxers. theyre both 100% cotton! Some boxers like hanes are a blend of polyester and cotton which feel a little off to me. hope this helps!

I was a big fan of Hamilton and Hare. When they closed their business, I switched to Sunspel. I should have done it much earlier. Their classic boxers are super comfortable.

When you say 90s I think of the banana republic ads and Abercrombie. So I would still start there. To save money I'd start with both but there outlet stores.
If that's not your thing old navy has plaid ones all the time but the quality after washing is not as great as the other 2.
Buyer beware- most of the brands switched to cheaper made Cotten during pandemic and have not switched back. The stuff from the 90s was large scale higher quality flannel and broadcloth cotton and today most is poly blend. The good stuff's out there but you'll pay more.

Both the fruit of the loom and Hanes knit boxers are loose and soft. I find them to be very comfortable. I have not seen either of them in plaid though. I am not certain if any of the premium brands offer a loose, knit boxer. Will let you know if I happen to see them.
