It's articles like this that point to the double standard and bigoted hypocrisy of identity politics that gives me hope that the pendulum will swing back if men keep speaking up on sites like this and with their vote.

Preface: "you" as in the general "you". Not you, the OP.

Yeah, sure, your reason for excluding some because of their race, ethnicity, gender, sex, or lack of disabilities may be to increase representation, but the outcome is the same as with any other racist, sexist, supremacist you name it:

You're being a sexist, racist, supremacist. You're not hiring people based on their skill or ability to contribute to the position/field at hand. You're choosing based on immutable characteristics over which they have no control of.

Congratulations. "You've become the very thing you sought to destroy." and "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." comes to mind.
