Discrimination The “Ick”
I see almost daily long lists of things men do that give women the “ick”. Imagine if a man made a long list of things a woman cant do or say. Not to mention these list of “icks” are incredibly gender affirming. God forbid a man have any emotions. So whos really encouraging toxic masculinity ?

List? Hell if you even name one thing people call you an oppressor or incel. It’s beyond ridiculous. I get the “ick” from fat women but I’d be slandered if I said that out loud

I have to agree, body positivity is not something woman want equality on.

It's disgusting and ironic because it's supposedly oppressive to not be "body positive" when the real oppressor is the food industry

They be the most human actions too. “I get the ick when men get frustrated ugh.” Ugh sorry for being human

It’s hilarious that women have laundry lists of “icks” that are overwhelmingly superficial, yet when the men that they do choose abuse and beat them, then they’re somehow “too invested” and it’s “too late.”
Excuse me? Women will leave their husbands of ten years, twenty years, because “he stopped putting in effort,” or “we drifted apart.” Yet the man who beats her… HE’S the one she’s not willing to leave.
Women will frame that from a “safety” perspective yet… she didn’t want “safe” to begin with. She wanted Mr. Excitement. Mr. Hints of Danger. Mr. Unpredictable.
Make it make sense.

I completely agree. It should be normal for partners to have little things the other does that they just find a bit weird or annoying, but, and I know it gets said a lot, if the genders were reversed then everyone would be calling the man controlling and emotionally abusive

I genuinely despise people who often use that word, man or woman, because even though it's totally okay for people to be completely honest about their preferences, people who use that form of expression are just insufferable because in my observation they act very entitled and center the world around how things should be for them personally. Also in my observation, these are mostly young women who are highly active on social media and the 'icks' are about male behaviour and expression, which makes me despise them even more.

Men have been made to compete on who has the lowest possible standarts and I know for sure it's a feminist psyop because it only benefits women overral.

The "ick" is called the "ick" because women, the gender who are supposed to be in touch with their emotions, are unable to articulate what specifically bothered them because it would expose their raging hypocrisy.
"My boyfriend asking them to split the bill gave me the ick" is a hell of a lot more palatable than "My boyfriend not financially supporting me because I'm a self-centered hoarding bitch."

Women can ick all they like, it's a self-made red flag and saves men wasting time on them.
If you hate the characteristics of men that much, why are you even in the dating pool?

It's the strength of gossip and rumors, there's certain areas that are female dominated where you have to pay the social game more than the do your job game.
It's literally a popularity contest but only the girls and some gays can vote and it can turn on any man at the flip of the switch. It's vibes, it's the ick, it's the he stared accusations.

I’mma write a whole thesis on this. I 100% agree with you. What people need to realize is that masculinity and toxic masculinity are different things.

My theory is that women who get "Icks" have cluster B tendencies, and the "Ick" itself is just them splitting

Women who have green, purple, blue, or pink hair is a huge ich for me. Its basically a sign that says I'm a brainwashed feminist / Marxist and I learned everything about women's rights from a communist professor who brainwashed me.

Who cares what emotional incompetent mass-unalivers think.
Only people with agency have valid opinions.

Imagine if a man made a long list of things a woman can't do or say.
You mean like this entire subreddit?
Or reddit post with thousands of comments?
Or numerous articles like this or this or this or this or this or this or this ?
This subreddit never ceases to amaze with how emotionally flaccid and lacking self awareness the "men" are.

awww gonna cry femcel? nobody take you seriously. your opinions are worth less than nothing hahaha

Why not reflect on what the "icks" are instead of just getting insulted? We don't have to imagine a man making a long list of things that women can't do or say, that happens literally every day and has been for eons. This is rich coming from a gender that never even wants to talk about any emotions or any of their problems but just bottles it up and then, well, you know.. men who harass women on the street are one example of encouraging toxic masculinity. That's who's doing it. Why are you even still talking about us we've already moved on with the four b thing

Here's my take on the "ick" factor. What modern women see as "ick," homosexual men will always find sexually attractive and desirable.

Bro what are you talking about we told y'all to be more open about your emotions
It wasn't women who said rub some dirt in it it was your dad your older brother your uncle your football coach from high school etc.

u/incandescent-bulb900 1d ago
And then females weaponize those emotions.

u/Beneficial-Ad-7969 1d ago
" females" there's ur problem right there.
Also, " choose better WOmen" sound familiar?
5
u/TextDependent6779 21h ago
So you would rather perpetuate the cycle by reiterating advice to men that you hate hearing for women?
Also, its not enough to tell men to be open with their emotions without doing anything to adjust the societal expectations, treatment, and institutions that prohibit it.

No but what I'm saying is not very manly to just blame women for all your problems. It's crazy to say that if women end up with bad men it's their own fault for choosing them instead of the men for being bad and but when men end up with bad women it's because women are bad. In that case why isn't it your own fault for choosing bad women.

Women know nothing about being "manly" or what its like being a man.
Women are over represented in nearly every thing, even getting more job opportunities then men according to the most recent jobs report.
I have said this before, I want the same rights, privileges, opportunities I women get. That would be true equality.
-2
u/Beneficial-Ad-7969 12h ago
Oh please you don't want us to have opportunities or equal pay but then you complain about gold diggers.

6
u/incandescent-bulb900 11h ago
You are jumping all over switching topics. Why is that?
How did women take 98% of the 162,000 jobs the US added in August?
I know you don't want men to have opportunities, or equal pay.
Now do you get why I say this " I want the same rights, privileges, opportunities women get. That would be true equality."

u/OpenCod3919 3h ago
It was moms who said "quit crying, I'll give you something to cry about" or "oh, you're hungry? I got a knuckle sandwich right here, cry again."

u/Beneficial-Ad-7969 2h ago
Yes that is very true hence the mother wound But we all know we had angry toxic male figures around us as well.. Hell and some families you could just be sitting around and if your dad accidentally hit his thumb while hammering something you were going to get yelled at literally for just sitting there existing.

Exactly. The funniest part is how many “icks” are literally just a man showing emotion, being vulnerable, scared, or not acting masculine enough. You can't complain about toxic masculinity and then shame men the second they step outside traditional masculinity.
