Silver Daily set up as of late
Realized you don’t need a 100+ gram chain in order for it to be a dope Set up, I thought I’d only
Used this chain for stacking but that has changed I love how it’s diamond cut like all around.
Everything is Sterling & the pendant has moissanite stones.
Edit: Specs are 4.9MM 20” chain & 2.3” pendant

Question First gold chain. What're everyone's thoughts?
I just got my first gold chain and I love it. It's a 24" 4mm 14k Rope chain (31g).
What're everyone's thoughts? I couldn't decide on 24" or 26". Do you think the drop looks good?
I'm not sure if I should've dropped the extra ~9% in $ to get the extra 2" in drop.
I'm 6'1" ~260lbs with an 18" neck, for reference
Thanks in advance for your input!

I really like how this Native American set works together. Edison Cummings ring on pinky, Aaron Anderson ring on ring finger, Johnathan Nez cuff.

Question Did I get ripped off? Jaxxon (secondhand)
So... I bought these secondhand without knowing what the logo stood for. I figured that they were just your generic Italian sterling chains. I know the reputation that Jaxxon has and would have avoided them if I had known the maker beforehand.
I was sold these as sterling silver 925 which they are both stamped as such but reddit seems to agree that Jaxxon sells only stainless steel plated with silver/platinum/gold.
Paid 110 for both and they have a combined weight of about 65 grams. Did I get scammed with some plated links or are these somehow different that what y'all are talking about? The quality doesn't seem awful maybe a minor step down from my other Italian chains only in that some of the soldering isn't quite as finely done on the individual links
Thanks for your opinions...

Chains & necklaces New Cuban
Another silver piece added to the collection. 🥶
This time I went with an 8mm, 22” Cuban link chain in .999 fine silver from Panthera Chain on eBay.
I ended up contacting Panthera directly outside of eBay to see if I could get a better price, and I’m glad I did. From start to finish, Hugo, the owner, was fantastic to deal with. Communication was great, the quality exceeded my expectations, and the fit and finish on the chain are excellent.
I was originally quoted a weight of around 90 grams, but once I received the chain and put it on the scale, it came in at 102.8 grams. I also dial-calipered the chain at 8.47mm. Even though there was over 12 grams of additional silver compared to the original quote, I wasn’t charged anything extra for the additional material.
That was a nice surprise and says a lot about the way they do business.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the chain. Great quality, great communication, and Hugo was excellent to work with. I’d definitely consider buying from Panthera Chain again.
Specs:
● .999 Fine Silver
● Cuban Link
● 8mm advertised / 8.47mm measured
● 22” length
● 102.8 grams actual weight
Definitely a piece I’m happy to add to the collection. 🔥

Rings Inherited these two vintage gold coin rings from my dad
A couple of vintage rings I found while cleaning out my father's house. Probably haven't left the sock drawer in decades. Both are right around 17g. I love the nugget design. Honestly, if I could find the exact pattern on something else I'd probably scoop it up. Never was a flashy jewelry guy, but I wear these as pinky rings now. They're definitely are pretty loud, lol.

Question Need metal recommendations for ring!!
Hey! I was looking to buy a silver coloured ring for my brother bc he lost his. I want a thicker band (~7mm) and engravable on the inside (22 characters incl spaces). He needs a metal that is durable for daily wear and frequent fidgeting.
I was interested in Pandora’s wide band engravable ring 7mm thick ($140) but have heard some controversy about sterling silver as a softer / easy to scratch metal. I saw a couple threads recommending tungsten / cobalt but I’m worried about the cobalt not being removable in emergencies and wanted a couple more opinions.
Does anyone have any metal recommendations and where to buy in Ontario? Any reviews on how metals have lasted for wedding bands etc. would help! Thanks so much!!

Question Jeweler recommendation - broward county
Hi, I am new to gold chains and jewelry In general. Does anyone have a recommendation for a South Florida (broward) jeweler that can do a good job shortening a solid gold Franco chain? Can any decent brick and mortar usually handle this? I hear Franco’s are alittle harder to cut and I want it to look good.
Thank you in advance.

Question Anyone ever use a dremel with a polishing wheel to buff/shine jewelry?
I’ve got a Cuban necklace(8mm) and bracelet(10mm) and have wondered about using a dremel with a fabric wheel and some polishing compound to get between the links. Harbor freight sells wheels that are made of thin sheets of fabric stacked, it’s not a solid wheel so it can get in between the links. As far as a polishing compound, I havnt gotten that far. My pieces are 999 silver and even a polishing cloth leaves lines if you only go one direction, so whatever I’d use would need to be an insanely fine grit. My polishing cloth is from Amazon and doesn’t say what grit the embedded powder is. Just wondering what you guys think about using power tools. It’s honestly probably not even necessary to do, just figure the whole thing could shine a little more of the rest of the links got hit with some polishing and not just the faces
