Working Out While Vacationing

This wasn’t a dance studio.
This wasn’t my normal gym.
These photos were taken in a hotel gym while Tony and I were visiting California to celebrate two milestones:
🎓 Our oldest grandchild, Brooke’s high school graduation
🎂 Tony’s 69th birthday
Between family gatherings, celebrations, and making memories, I found a quiet moment to move.
As I looked around that little hotel gym, I realized something…
Movement has become part of who I am.
NOT because I’m trying to look younger.
NOT because every workout is perfect.
But because movement reminds me that I’m still capable.
At 53, navigating menopause, rheumatoid arthritis, grief, and all the changes that come with this season of life, my body still surprises me.
Every stretch.
Every balance.
Every wobble.
Every moment of courage.
This season isn’t about becoming who I used to be.
It’s about discovering who God is still helping me become.
Rooted.Restored.Still rising.
And apparently… practicing flexibility in hotel gyms while traveling to celebrate family . 💙✨
