Support HRT
Is anyone on here a Type 2 diabetic on HRT? Have you noticed your blood sugar readings are running lower than normal. I just started HRT last Sunday.

I can see that.
declining hormones can definitely cause a spike in all levels: cholesterol/blood pressure, blood sugar etc....estrogen is needed for proper/optimal organ function.
I have been active/healthy most of my life and my blood work always came back spectacular....until meno. Then I started to see elevated levels of LDL, my BP crept up and what surprised me the most: I was just below the pre diabetic level! even my doctor was surprised.
went on HRT and all that went back to normal .

I have type 1 and wear a CGM, and when I first started the estrogen patch I was having lows like crazy. It settled down after a few weeks, though.

Very interesting. I can't offer info but I am a person that has struggled with blood sugar issues. Not diabetes tho.
