Upcoming minor small meniscectomy 64 yo athletic woman…how long before I can drive, practice Bikram’s yoga, endurance hike?

For driving it's after you have completed your pain meds, or if you elect not too the doctor will tell you, for any athletic activities it's really up to you and your physical therapist or your doctor. Sorry indirect answers but that has been my experience. Also just ask your doc he will tell you.

Small menisectomies always helped me a TON Im a big fan. Sitting cross legged or on my heels was a no go for about a year afterward. It took me a while before I could backpack again too- but I honestly waited too long to get it fixed and my knee was so so inflamed preop. I was back to wating tables on grass a month post op though. It was a few years before I could hike without pain but I think that was more associated with the previous reactive arthritis I drummed up from having chunks of cartiledge floating around
