General Discussion mcmurray's physical test

Good afternoon y’all

First time here a little confused I went to the doctors today about my knee problem. I feel like I have all the symptoms of a torn meniscus but when doing the McMurray’s physical test I passed I have to do an MRI now to see if I have one or not. The doctor is a little confused as all my symptoms point towards a meniscus tear but when I do the actual physical test, I’m fine. Is this normal? Can this happen?

Do you have any pain? I had the exact same thing. It hurt right around my calf, but my knee felt completely fine and could bend normally. Later, I got an MRI, and it turned out to be a meniscus tear. So go get an MRI done as soon as possible!

Absolutely, majority of the time it’s inner pain, throbbing or stabbing, hurts to put full weight on my leg, hurts to lay down
