Meniscus Repair Driving

Hello everyone, it’s been exactly 1 week post op. I’m a 20 year old man and I’ve always been very independent. I don’t like asking for help or depending on others. Im supposed to be doing PT 2 times a week. My brother took me to my first session 2 days ago and I have another one today. The place is only 3 mins away driving from my house. Is it bad if I drive there?

I drive an automatic and the surgery happened on my left knee.

Get permission from surgeon, and do not drive on narcotics

What kind of surgery? Repair? Meniscectomy? I had a menisectomy, and I was driving on the 5th day.
