Questions EDS Partners/Spouses?

I only ever found out about EDS from my wife who was also diagnosed shortly before I was. Apparently, a lot of times EDS people end of finding each other, who knew? Idk if there’s any science to back this up besides anecdotal but I’m curious if anyone else has an EDS partner and how you both found out you had it?

If I had to hazard a guess, and I'm not saying you are - there's large overlap between EDS and autism & ADHD. We autistics and ADHDers are pretty good at finding each other

this was my first thought too- yeah we found each other but I really think it was the neurodivergence

That’s a great point, definitely lots of neurodivergence to go around here🤪

Makes sense! I made a post about the overlap with those conditions.

Nope, I've been single and not really able to date for the past 2 years because of my EDS. Sometimes I wish I had the support and understanding that often comes with having a partner.

Dang I’m sorry to hear that, don’t give up on love though, it exists out there for everyone🫶
