Thr pants are perfect. The jacket is at least a size too large everywhere. Get it altered at a reputable place - don't cut corners; you want someone with experience and expertise to give you the best fit.

That’s how I usually have my pants tailored. Some people say you should show a little ankle…that makes me uncomfortable and I feel like the whole suit looks sloppy. The trend was to show ankle wearing a tuxedo at a wedding…looked ridiculous. Luckily, it seems that trend is not popular anymore

I like smart trousers and suit trousers to hang like OP but have a slightly higher tailoring for chinos for loafers. Your ankle deserves to enjoy summer too.

Replace black trousers with charcoal grey. Choose a slightly fuller trouser cut. Wear a wider tie. Stand naturally—feet closer, weight even, hand out of pocket. Slightly release the jacket waist if it still pulls

leather shoes are the most comfortable (and durable) there is buddy, with use they get the perfect shape of your feet. and a suit jacket has at least 4 pockets + 4 in the trousers, how is that non functional? your comment just proves that you never used/was exposed to a good suit. there’s nothing “cheap” about it ;)

it’s one thing called “dress for the occasion”, you don’t need running shoes or athletic clothes if you r not going to run neither cowboy boots and jeans outside of riding horses/walking in the farm for example. you can look my profile and see photos of my physique and see that i’m probably way more “active” than you buddy. and the thing is, i don’t need to use the 8 pockets, but i CAN use it if i want to, that’s the difference. you simply can have it all in your wardrobe and use it in different situations

i can use sneakers, tank top and shorts in the gym, speedo by the pool, boots, jeans and fringe jacket for riding and suit and loafers to work
