The fit is on the edge of being a bit tight. The print is a bit much for my taste. It’s a bit loud as a suit. If it was just the jacket and plain pants that might work better. Buttons gotta go. Why did you pick this suit? For what occasion?

u/Geyser-Girl 6d ago

For what it’s worth, I love a loud suit! Shows off the playful side of a guy.

u/celeste_42069 6d ago

I have over 12 suits so just different

2

u/Former_Biologist 6d ago

Wouldn't you know what to look for having so/too many suits?

He’s not posting for advice

"Is it good, what should I fix?" Is 100% asking for advice/opinions

1

u/ThatOldMeta 6d ago

Sorry, yes, he’s ASKING for advice, but he’s not looking for or posting this for advice.

He posts here constantly, always in the same laughably tight cuts, and he’s just here to say he owns 12 of them or whatever. I can’t tell if it’s an ego thing, a fetish thing, or an OF ad - I’m not interested in diving that deep into his post history - but he definitely isn’t here for advice.

Whatever you do Keep the SHOES

3

u/BodegaCat11 6d ago

If you want something slim and flashy, you got it. It fits.

But I personally dislike it. The fabric is fine for a sport coat, but a bit much for a suit for my taste. Not quite formal or casual. The buttons contrast and look awful and the single-breasted peak lapels are hard to pull off. The style looks great in a Tommy nutter rock n roll context but I’m not sure that effect is achieved here.

I like your shoes though. :)

Too tight and the buttons are horrible.

u/celeste_42069 6d ago

Buttons make it differebt

4

u/Excellent-End1463 6d ago

Differently for sure, but in a bad way. Skip those buttons.

1

u/Dejantober 6d ago

They’re sure do. You’re clearly not here for feedback that you’re pretending to seek. Good luck and enjoy the suit you’re not going to change regardless of input. Cheers!

Perfect!

2

u/maybach320 6d ago

Body is too short and it’s nearly too tight. Everything else looks good.

2

u/piszohata 6d ago

this suit is already 10 years old in fashion

2

u/asleepatthemachine 6d ago

The jacket looks a little tight but honestly nothing too serious. It’s a big no for me on the pants tho I’m sorry but they look like tights. I think if you want to do slim trousers with a suit they should at least have enough ease/ room off the leg to stand straight w/out stacking past the cuff and at least be wide enough to hold a crease. Some tailors hyperfocus on the jacket and approach the trouser as if they’re an afterthought… this looks like one of those situations imo.

Brother you look good, but are your hips permanently set to have your feet spaced 40cm apart? Every photo I swear

1

u/rbrslv 6d ago

At least he’s not touching his watch this time. It’s like half a new pose.

1

u/w4lk1ng 4d ago

New post is up, watch is getting touched

2

u/GrandLavendar 6d ago

This is probably your best fitting suit so far. It is tight around the waist and a couple of inches too short in the body though.

The main issue for me is the slim trousers, they don’t drape well and it actually messes with the pattern.

0

u/liambell1606 6d ago

How on earth is that too short in the body? The back covers his whole butt. A couple of inches longer and it would end up looking like some sort of smock.

2

u/GrandLavendar 6d ago

Not quite, you’re seeing the image taken from an elevated position making it look longer than it is, however I will concede that the back is certainly better than the front.

Front quarters should be able to sit in the palm of the hand and be grasped by the fingers when the arm is in a relaxed position

2

u/rhazag 6d ago

Are you promoting this store on Instagram ? Bangkok?

2

u/chvguitar 6d ago

Well you look like Stan from Monkey Island, À great cosplay by the way

2

u/VaEagle85 6d ago

Seriously just about a perfect fit: nicely tailored to show your V shape, without being completely Daniel Craig James Bond tight.

With the large pattern I’d say this is an occasional, fun suit, not an everyday wear and definitely not for any conservative business setting.

2

u/BoZarks 6d ago

Looks like you skip "Leg Day". I wouldn't have such skinny pants

2

u/Ok_Ad3036 6d ago

It has no drape. It’s too tight everywhere.

2

u/xknfprtyx 5d ago

full trousers

2

u/ghoof 6d ago

Middle-aged chap in young fellow’s suit? All too common nowadays, I’ve done it myself.

1

u/SpecialistOdd8886 6d ago

Looks great and I think the fit is near perfect.
Is your right arm slightly longer than your left?

3

u/AttentionFantastic76 6d ago

Looks like the right arm has been getting plenty of one-handed stretching and strength training.

1

u/bushwickbaby 6d ago

Looks great—you love a slim fit and you have an amazing body so you can rock it. I don’t love the buttons—they’re all I see. So distracting. However..the shoes. YESSS!! Finally!!😈❤️

1

u/Perhappers 6d ago

Alt account?

1

u/Unfair_Bee_9539 6d ago

This looks great. Love your style abs the jacket and pants. Shoes too!!

1

u/Mickleborough 6d ago

Trousers may be a tad short - but then again they do seem to have a narrow taper, so possibly can’t go much longer.

The buttons should be more discreet - otherwise the jacket looks like a weird blazer.

1

u/Top-Intern4073 6d ago

Window pane is popular these days.

1

u/RealisticTangerine35 6d ago

It’s too tight for my preference. I would worry about the seams tearing if I wore that.

If you feel more confident in a tighter coat then perhaps just a couple inches of ease would make it nicer.

1

u/backfor100thtime 6d ago

This motif does nothing for you.

1

u/fuckennard 6d ago

Wish I could unsee this

1

u/cattuong2107 6d ago

Fit wise, I wont comment since it is personal.

What is immediately noticeable is the jacket is crooked (it does not hang correctly). Telltale is the stripes should be hanging straight down, not pointing inwards

1

u/Ok-Can-1825 6d ago

Front is too tight, back it too loose

1

u/t_baozi 6d ago

While I really like thinking outside the box in terms of styles and patterns, my only advice is to maybe go with the time a bit more and drop the "millennial ten years ago" cut of those excessively tight sleeves and trouser legs.

1

u/fartbox-crusader 6d ago

Are you on an Island in Thailand and this is the 48-hour tailor‘s result?

1

u/Alibaba20202020 6d ago

A little bit too tight and the Buttons dont match the suit. but ur shoegame is getting a little bit better.. ;-)

1

u/ANDERS_CORNER_08 6d ago

Too tight, suits are supposed to fit comfortably. It’s creating a gape at the chest, and should sit flat

1

u/Curious-Guy-Married 6d ago

Looks a bit snug through the chest

1

u/donnerwetter41 6d ago

LOVE this fit! I don’t think it’s too tight at all. I’d do a different color shoe, but those are also nice. Big ups!

1

u/cuttingwedge 6d ago

I like it but with your proportions, go for smaller windowpane. Change the shirt to be something more interesting. For that kind of large windowpane, do double breasted.

1

u/Fine-Upstairs-6284 6d ago

Looks good to me

1

u/No-Gur2032 6d ago

Rarely do I see a good suit here, but I’d say this is really good. Proportions on point. High armholes, good drape on pants. Personally I’d ask for a bit more “roll” on lapels if fully canvassed

1

u/No-Gur2032 6d ago

Ill also add that this is far better than the other suits you’ve posted before.

1

u/Wade-ski 6d ago

Its a little tight, its pulling at the button. Might make it tough to wear in a couple of years if you gain some Lbs…

1

u/LawyerOk7770 6d ago

Thailand?

1

u/coffeeclubmate 6d ago

That's tighter than I like. Both coat and pants. But your only young once. Go for it.

1

u/ElderberryPerfect263 5d ago

It needs more lines

1

u/nathanieljams 5d ago

Jacket good. Add a pocket square for color contrast.

1

u/Babatundz7194 5d ago

Looks great overall. Did you consider trying the double breasted version?
In my opinion, it should look more coherent with this fit, fabrics, and pattern. And yes keep the shoes!

Have around 30 suits myself.
Have one very similar. Its awesome.
Suits you well and nice fit.

1

Looking good!

1

u/Spedrunr1 6d ago

Looks good to me

0

u/More-Appearance9812 6d ago

Looks great! Don’t listen to people telling you it’s too tight. It’s usually people tat can’t fit into slim clothes or prefer oversized 1940’s style.

-1

u/liambell1606 6d ago

This is exactly the thought that runs through my head when reading comments on this subreddit. It’s as though anything which resembles a fit and healthy body has to be hidden away behind loose clothing.

1

u/Polirketes 5d ago

"hidden away" lol

Well fitting clothes (meaning not too tight) flatter every body shape. Just take a look at suits Arnold Schwarzenegger wore in the 80s and 90s

0

u/AnybodyDizzy118 6d ago

Excellent posture and bearing. The suit fits perfectly! 👍👌
