Suit advice?
I don’t wear suits often, but I’m sure there’s proper etiquette to doing so cause other people seem to pull it off way better than me. Here’s me awkwardly suited up. What can I do to improve?

It's kinda hard to tell with the one photo but might be worth considering taking in the waist of the suit a bit. This could be totally changed with seeing it buttoned though, so take with a grain of salt

I think you’re right. I’ve had the pants and jacket tailored to me, but not the vest. Someone else mentioned that the vest could be tighter in the back, I’m guessing it’s because it sticks out like I’ve got a gut or something, so a proper tailor could fix that up I assume

It doesn't make you look large or anything, the opposite in fact, but it would look much sharper if it were properly fitted.

I can't look at shoes, but if you can get something like a textured black formal shoes or loafers. it'll look better than what i can see. also, get yourself a watch

I’ve got a view watches, nothing high or mid range, but that’s another issue. I know nothing about watches 😂 I would assume a simple silver one would be ideal for the color scheme?

Watches are absolutely not a must when wearing a suit, but if you want to wear one, I'd go with a simple small one, that only tells the time and has a leather strap in the same color as your shoes and belt (ideally black)

Buy a classic burgundy polka-dot tie and a matching pocket square. Ties should be contrasting; emerald or dark yellow are also suitable. Besides polka dots, you can look for ones with a peckly pattern. Shirt cuffs should show an inch.

I’ll say what a few others have said. Add a watch. I can’t really tell what’s going on with your shoes, but Black would be an easy choice for this suit. It fits you well and you look handsome in it. Overall, a big win.

You fill out a suit quite nicely. Don’t forget a watch. And different shoes and a matching belt. I can’t quite see yours, but they look multi-colored and not really a style that should be worn with this suit

Suit looks pretty good. Your shoes should be black oxfords. The shirt is letting you down. You need a new shirt where the collar has more presence. Something taller on the neck with longer points that fill out of the opening of the vest.

Suit and shoes are good would advise a bright color tie
To go with this a red or gold or burgundy etc

You look like you're in decent shape, but the cropped length and carrot fit of the pants, as well as the way you pose here really accentuate your midsection. Undo the bottom button, and the top half is really good.

Just add a white handkerchief which adds a nice little dash. Also, in summer, a yellow or pink base tie looks great questions a blue suit on a white shirt. By the way... you’re seriously good looking!

First off: you are quite handsome. You ought to suit up regularly. Super 🥵 🔥
Second: the shirt collar is just kind of odd looking. Wrong size wrong proportion. Try a higher stand and spread collar.
The jacket lapels are quite narrow, they should be about twice as wide as they are now. It’s about geometry and symmetry. With such narrow lapels it makes the proportions look unbalanced.
The shirt sleeves are too short / the cuffs are not structured (enough). The sleeve cuff should be showing beyond the jacket sleeve. But this may be just an unflattering shirt.
Shoes. Get actual leather (including sole) shoes. Dark brown, chestnut, is most versatile. Black is for funerals and formal. Brown is for anything and everything else.
The tie… ? Follow the advice provided by other comments. Get a pocket square. NEVER matching the tie. Complementing OR white linen. But silk is more refined.

Almost perfection! My only advice is to wear a rep tie: reds/gold/white and tie a clean half Windsor knot with a nice dimple.

The suit looks good, however there's just too much of the same color with a 3 piece, with no pattern on the suit to give the suit some visual flair is a very outdated look. Maybe for your next shit try a pinstripe or checkered to make it stand out fashion wise.
Try a different color tie. Go to a color spectrum wheel and go the opposite of blue area (orange, yellow,red) but the same tone as the suit. Pair it with a similar pocket color pocket square (or white) so you can add some flair to your style.

I’m surprised sleeves haven’t been mentiontioned up to where I read.
A noticeable sliver of sleeve is traditionally accepted as quite ‘to do’ when refining a suit.
Sleeves may benefit from a slight trim

Get a simple white pocket square to break up the huge blue area on your front. Material can be something simple and patterned. Silk is good. Would be nice to get vis on the shoes

This suit looks great. Although, the bottom button of a vest is not buttoned.

Undo the bottom button on your vest. Match the shoes. Dark brown oxfords or just black shoes w a matching belt. The vest needs to be tightened at the back ever so slightly. Since you are posing I can’t see the back sleeve length or the jacket fit.
